Setups are sub-groupings of a photography project based on the subjects or events of a photo shoot day. On the desktop, setups are the sub-folders that a digital technician or photographer will create to divide up a large photo shoot. However, once these sub-folders are uploaded to a DF Studio project, they will no longer appear as sub-folders but as a list in a drop down menu.
In the example below, the overall project has 3661 images, and the sub-folders that were uploaded are listed under the Setups drop down menu. This type of viewing is similar to the editing experience in Adobe Lightroom, where multiple folders can be imported and viewed in one proofsheet view but also filtered down to the individual folders.
